A Robust Renovation Programme
From vision to missions
With its new concept called ‘second wind’, B&B Hotels wanted to revitalise its hotel rooms and bring consistency to its many establishments.
Our Espace 4 Remodeling teams won this major renovation project. We renovated 3,800 rooms and bathrooms, including making them accessible to people with reduced mobility, across the network’s 55 locations. There was no time to lose!
To organise this mission and make it run smoothly, our Remodeling service developed a modeling tool specific to the project. Using ‘assembly sheets’, the tool made it possible to work in rooms using a ‘serial production’ technique. As for our Space Design team, they manufactured and installed the furniture for general services, the welcome lobby and the buffet.
During the three years that were necessary for this project, we worked with a number of our partner companies. It was also an excellent opportunity for our teams to learn new skills.
